新标准英语第二册Module 4 Unt1 This is my head.主要是认识和表达自己的五官。我上的是这一单元的第一课时,主要让学生认识自己五官,掌握单词head, face, eye, nose, ear, mouth。
首先我利用课件复习了上单元的内容,然后我用自己制作的小花和五角星奖励给学生引出单词,在教授单词时,我利用图片,并让学生一边说一边摸自己的五官,这样既直观又形象,让学生通过自己的触摸,更好地掌握单词。最后我设计了三个游戏来练习和巩固这堂课学习的单词。一个是把单词贴到相应的图片下面,一个是给小动物找丢失的五官,还有一个是老师发指令,学生摸他们自己的五官,让学生在学中玩,在玩中学。

a) Greet with the kids.
b) Listen and do : Look at the window/door/ ceiling/floor. II、Revision
1、Look and say. (Show on the screen : A panda is on the screen.) T: Point and ask ―What‘s this? ‖
Ss: Look and answer ―It‘s a head/ nose/mouth/ face…‖. T: Let the kids stand up and read the words twice.
2、Practice a sentence with the paper given them before class. Ss : This is a head/ This is an eye.
T: Find some children to say the sentences. Ss: Say one by one.
3、Game: Stick then together.
T: Let‘s play a game. Stick the head, eyes ,mouth , ears, and nose together and make a complete face. Ss: Stick in groups
T: Stick the faces on the board and divide into 6 groups. 4、Have a match: Listen and touch quickly. III、Presentation
1、Draw the kids‘ attention to the screen and teach the words. Spider / baby spider[ 2、Go on watching and elicit them to pay attention to the dialogue between the baby spider and the mother spider. (Play the cassette)
T: Before you listen , I have 3 questions. a) How many legs has a baby spider got? b) How many eyes has a baby spider got? c) What‘s the meaning of ―What are these?‖? Ss: (After listening to the dialogue,) answer the questions.
T: Teach them to say the sentence: ― What are these?‖ several times Ss: Practise the sentence in groups one by one.
3、Open their books and practise the dialogue in pairs. Then show off in the front. 4、Read the dialogue together. 5、Game: Listen and draw
T: Say some sentences and the kids draw some pictures. (draw four blue pencils/ six yellow balls/ two green eyes and three red birds.) Ss: Draw and show their pictures.
6、Take something and practice the questions and answers. 7、Go on watching and learn the sing: head shoulders. T: Lead them to read the words. Ss: Repeat the words after the teacher. T: Say the words with actions. Ss: Say and do some actions.
T: Play the cassette and sing with actions. Ss: Try to sing with actions. IV: Sum and homework
