MCNP 几何部分 宏观物体定义曲面 练习题 Geometry problems II – Macrobodies.
Repeat the first set of exercises - You should use Macrobodies in each case.
In each case you should try to predict how MCNP will assign each facet number - then check this using the plotter.
PROBLEMS:
5. A cylinder lying along the z-axis. Radius 5 cm height 10 cm. Make the cylinder from material U235 weight fraction 94.73, U238 weight fraction 5.27, material density 18.7g/cm3
6. The cylinder in 1. Surrounded by a 20 cm side length cube of water. Position the cylinder centrally in the water.
7. The geometry of problem 2, but with the cylinder rotated about the x-axis by 45 degrees.
8. An Al box, 2 cm wall thickness and internal side 20 cm. The box has a top and a bottom. Inside of the box place a 5 cm radius cylinder of height 10 cm laying long the z-axis. The cylinder should be central within the box. The space between the cylinder and box is filled with water. The Al walls are of density 2.7 g/cm3. The cylinder has the material properties described in problem 1.
Extension - Try problem 4 using a mixture of cells, surfaces and macrobodies.
