TheVB-1HCisamultiplemodesandcancountupto150KHz(1-phase)hardwarehigh-speedcounter.ItisaspecialfunctionblockfortheVB0,VB2seriesPLC.TheVB-1HCcountsatahigher

speedthanthebuilt-inhigh-speedcounteroftheVBseriesPLCs(AB-phase5kHz,1-phase10kHz)andperformscomparisonsandoutputsdirectly.

Variouscountermodes,suchas1-phase,2-phaseorAB-phase,16-bitor32-bitmodes,canbeselectedusingcommandsfromthePLC.AllowtheVB-1HCunittorunonlyaftersettingthesemodeparametersproperlyinadvance.

Thesourceofyourinputsignalshouldbea1orAB-phaseencoder.A5V,12V,or24Vpowersourcecanbeused.Aninitialvaluesettingcommandinput(PRESET)andacountprohibitcommandinput(DISABLE)arealsoavailable.

TheVB-1HChastwooutputs.Whenthecountervaluecoincideswithanoutputcomparevalue,theappropriateoutputissetON.Theoutputtransistorsareindividuallyisolatedtoalloweithersinkorsourceconnectionmethods.

DatatransferbetweentheVB-1HCandtheVBSeriesPLCisbybuffermemoryexchange.Thereare32buffermemories(eachof16bits)intheVB-1HC.
