If you walk into a shoe shop, you can see many shoes on the shelves. Do you know which pair of shoes is suitable for you? Here are some suggestions when choosing shoes.

First, you should consider the comfort (舒适). If you like the design, feel free to try on the shoes. If you don?t feel comfortable enough to walk in the shoes, it may not be the right pair for you.

Next, pay attention to the design. Some shoes are designed for walking, some for running, and others for jumping. You should be very clear about when or where you?re going to wear the shoes.

The brand (品牌) and price also need to be considered. Let?s say there is a pair of shoes that you like very much. You?re looking for them for long. But only the price stops you from buying the shoes. Then what will you do? You can always choose another brand that costs a little less but still has the same quality.

Make sure to choose the right type of shoes for your sport though. The ideal situation is that you should have a special pair of shoes for a special sport. Here are two quick examples.

Many sports like badminton, basketball, and volleyball, etc. are played indoors. The court surface is often wet. So the shoes that have very good grip (防滑性能) will be the best for you, or you may fall easily.

Many activities are taken outdoors. For example, someone may like mountain climbing or hiking. Usually, a pair of high-quality cross trainers will be good. Cross trainers make it possible for people to do different sports outdoors. You can run, jump, and move up and down, or left and right in them.

In all, having the right pair of shoes is important and you don?t want to be wearing a pair of indoor shoes to run a marathon (马拉松). That will do more harm than good.
