F：I argue that honesty ,confidence,perseverance,and diligence are all important things.honesty is the first one.if we lose honesty then we lose the trust from other people,just as dongsiyang.and the second one is confidence,you must have confidence in yourself before doing other things .if you are not confident enough,people will not be confident in you.what about you ?

L: I agree with you ,in my opinion , as a college student,firstly,we should focus on our own study and get more knowledge,at the same time,try to do some part time jobs and enhance our practical ability

F:anything else?

L: we should form a better relationship with other people.because you are one of the members in this society,you will never make things alone easily, and people can teach you and help you become better in your career,you can get a lot from them.

F: absolutely right,and I think a personal career development plan are essential for success.

L: why?

F: A personal career development plan enables people to keep track of progress in your own career. L:yeah ,I know It is a reliable way to analyze your motivations, aspirations, and achievements.

F:well,all of the above are very important to our future s career,we should make a good prepration to meet the coming challenges.

L:that s right ,be positive,be confident ,and we will succeed in the end.

F：XX,can you list some successful career women?

L: well,let me see.for example,the well- know hostess yanglan is one of the successful career women in china,she graduated from Beijing Foreign Studies University ,she is a multi-talented person and alsowin a good reputation in the business field.what about you?

F: I admire oprah winfrey very much.although she has a miserable life experience ,her perseverance 、diligence and wisdom make her success. Since 2004, Time magazine has six times conducted a poll to name the 100 most influential people in the world. Only one person has appeared on all six lists, that is Oprah Winfrey.

L: well,they are still a very small group in our society when compare With the successful men in that field.women always have some obstacles in their careers.

F: well,what do you think of it ? what s the main obstacle to women s success in their careers?

L: in my opinion , traditional ideas is the main reason .throuthout history ,most societies have held women in an inferior status compared to that of men,because of the biological and physical differences between men and women.women are educated to think so .they always hold the view that they are less competitive than men.

F: That s right,I argue that gender difference may have the effect on women s careers.for natural and biological reasons ,women are generally weaker and less muscled , may be not suitable for certain tough and demanding work like drilling and fighting .

L: yeah, generally speaking,women are billogically less competitive and less adventurous,they prefer caring and dependence while men are more inclined to compete and take risks.in a word ,for women s delicacy,tenderness,and sensitivity,women sometimes can t qualify for the jobs as men.
