Yu said the five-stroke armband is an innovation that was adopted by the Wuhan committee a dozen years ago. He declined to say what Huang's responsibilities are.

1. bed of roses,
bed of roses却更常和not或者no连用,成为否定形式。
My sister Irene works at a full time job and has two young sons to take care of when she gets home in the evening. Her husband Bob tries to help out, of course, but he just isn't too handy with kids. Believe me, her life these days is no bed of roses.
Mike's looking for another job. His boss is rude and very bad-tempered. And the five people who work for Mike are lazy and untrained so Mike has to explain everything to them. Therefore, his job is a real bed of nails for him.
3.get the drop on(回忆之前学过的同意表达),这个习惯用语约莫1850年左
He gets the drop on his opponent.
Our new software will get the drop on our competitors - it performs accounting work a whole lot faster than other stuff on the market and we've put a price on it as low as the slower software the other companies are selling.
B: I heard through the grapevine that Jim will probably get the new job in Marketing.
A :I'm not surprised. He' such a brown-noser.
B: Yeah, the only reason he's moved up so fast is by sucking up all the time. A:You hit the nail right on the head.
