卷二 当守的规诫

2、第一诫 The First Commandment

3、恭敬圣母圣人 Honouring the Blessed Virgin and Saints

问: 恭敬圣母、天使、圣人，也是理当的么？

Ｑ: Is it lawful to honour the Blessed Virgin, the angels and the saints?

答: 也是理当的。 （出 23: 20-21；路 1:48-49；德 44:1）: C2 v, H7 ^) Q- U2 F/ B% h' F! g Ａ: It is quite lawful to honour the Blessed Virgin, the angels and the saints. (Ex 23:20-21; Lk 1:48-49; Sir 44:1)

Ａ: We should honour the angels and the saints because they are faithful servants and beloved children of God, who are always interceding for us with God. (2Mac 15:13-16)

问: 我们恭敬天使圣人，同外教人敬邪神，拜偶像，有分别么？ Ｑ: Is there any difference between the honour which we pay to the angels and saints, and the honour which pagans pay to idols and false gods? ! K\

答: 大有分别：恭敬天使圣人，合于正理，引人归向天主。敬邪神，拜偶像，出于迷信， 引人背叛天主。

Ａ: There is a great difference: the honour which we pay to the angels and saints is reasonable, leading us to God; but the worship paid to idols and false gods is superstitious, and leads men away from God.

4、第二诫 The Second Commandment

Ｑ: What does the second commandment forbid?

答: 禁止轻慢天主的圣名，或呼天主的圣名发虚誓，或许愿不还。 （肋 19: 12；申 23:22-24） `5 R+ d, ^! e% h1 t. S+ z

Ａ: The second commandment forbids profaning the Holy Name of God, calling God to witness a false oath, and breaking vows. (Lev 19:12; Dt 23:22-24). X7 t; ^9 X1 X$ L* P: u. E( j

答: 就是许给天主一件更中悦祂圣意的事，且规定不做有罪。 （训 5:3-4）

Ａ: A vow is a promise made to God about something very pleasing to Him, which binds us under pain of sin. (Ecl 5:3-4); d. t X+ g8 ? z

5、第三诫 The Third Commandment

Ｑ: What are we commanded by the third commandment?

答: 命人主日及当守节日上停工，专务恭敬天主的事情。 （申 5:12-14）2 O4 w3 m* G- r7 }0 T Ａ: By the third commandment we are commanded to abstain from servile work on all Sundays and holydays of obligation and devoted ourselves to the worship of God. (Dt 5:12-14). u7 y' ], y4 h\ / M# t4 U\
