不定词的名词用法----当主词，受词，补语。 不定词当主语------
the work is fun 这个工作很好玩。
To travel around the world is fun 周游世界很好玩。 蓝色部分是主语
例句， 对我而言回答这个问题是困难的。
To answer the question is difficult for me。 蓝色部分是主语。
注意不定词放句首当主词时为一件 其后必须接单数动词。
To solve pollotion problem is difficult for people in Taiwan. To solve pollution problem is hard for people in Taiwan
对台湾公民而言要解决污染问题是困难的。
注意不定词为首的主词 可用It（ 假主词代替）所以上句可改成
It’s hard for people in Taiwan to solve pollution problem.. 外国人常用这样的句子 It 代替的是to solve pollution problem.
Answer the question 回答问题. solve pollution problems 解决污染问题
例句， To be patient with others is best for you 对别人有耐心对你是也是最好的。 Patient 是形容词所以前面要加动词be . be patient 做主语要加To 这个句子改成用假主词

他说别人的坏话是愚笨的 It’s stuoit of him to spek ill of others.
Speak ill of ( 说别人的坏话)
也可以这样说 he is stupitto speak ill of others . 不定词当受词（放在一般V 之后——）
例如
I Like baseball 是不对的
应该是
I likt to play baseball 打棒球
I Like playing baseball
I decided to quit the job ,我决定辞掉工作。To quit the job 辞掉工作
He hoped to be there on time 那个时候他希望准时到那里
或者 He hoped to get there on time
注意有些动词如 decide决定hope希望 want 想要expect（期待）volunteer (志愿者) 等必须永不定词当受词。
我想要和我的朋友们一起去看电影。
Ｉwant ( would like )to see a movie with my friends
如果这个句子是----我明天想要和朋友们去看电影。也要用现在时，因为想是现在想的事情
你不需要去如果你不想去的话。You needn’t go if you don’t want to go
注意 to 后面的动词和前面相同时则动词可省略
更改后 你不需要去如果你不想去的话。You needn’t go if you don’t want to。
不定词当补语
例如 I love a girl girl 是受格
I am a girl be 后面是补语
当主词补语------放在be 动词的或连缀动词之后。 连缀动词有 become、look 等 例如
My work is the thing 我的工作就是这个
My work is to prepare dinner 我的工作是准备晚饭 prepare 准备
我人生的目标是成为一名歌首
My aim in life is to become a famous singer.
Aim in life 人生目标
To see is to beilever.百闻不如一见 或 眼见为实
当受词补语------即主词＋动词＋ 受词＋ 受词补语 例如
He calls me Johnny 他叫我Johnny
He wants me to do it 他想要我做这个
She told me to quit smoking ,, 他告诉我戒烟。
或这 He told me to give up smoking
She got her husband to clean up the house。他叫她的丈夫去打扫房间。

他要求我不要跟她说实话。He asked me not to tell her the truth. Ask人to V 要求某人去做
本动词的否定------助动词加 not 加V.
他没有要求我跟她说实话。 He didn’t ask me to tell her the truth.
注意否定不定词-----not 加 to V
不定词的形容词用法------一个是N 加 to V 一个是something 加to V
修饰名词的例句
I have letters to write 我有很多信要写。To write 不定词当形容词。
我妈妈每天有很多家务是要做。
My mother has a lot of homework to do every day .
妈妈每天做家务
My mother does homework .
修饰something 等
I’ll give you somethink to eat . 我会给你一些东西吃。 你有什么东西可读吗？

注意有一些不定词之后会伴随这介系词Nj加to V
They have a lot of things to talk about. 他们有很多事情要谈 about 是介系词
Please give me a ball-point-pen to write with .请给我一支写字的圆珠笔。
不定词的副词用法
表示目的-此时可用in order to V 代替 意思是 为了。。。。
She went to london to study english 她去伦敦学英文
She went to london in order to study english 她去伦敦为了学英文。
注意 go 和 come 通常后不接不定词 而用and 例如
Come (and )see me .来看我 。and 一般省略了。 Come see me .
表示原因------ 跟在表示感情的形容词之后遇到动词要见不定词代表原因 例如
I am glad to see you 我很高兴见到你
我们听到这个消息很难过。We are sorry to heart the news
含不定词的句型
疑问词 加To V- 为名词片语。当主词。受词。 补语。 例如
Which way to go is a big problem。要走那条路 是个大问题啊。Which way to go 是主词
I know how to operate the machine 我知道如何操作这个机器。
He told me where to take the bus 他告诉我那里到那里去乘车。
Too…….to （ 太。。。。。不能。。） 例如
You are too young to understand the whole thing。你太年轻了，不能了解整个事情。
The water is too hot for me to drink （it） 这个水对我来讲太热了不能喝。 It一定要省略
因为不定词如果和前面的主词一样的话it 可以省略
他工作的太慢无法完成这件事. He worked too slowly to finishi it 这个it 是不能省略的因为它和前面主词是不一样的。。
