2.运用被动语态要注意以下几点: (1)there be句式没有被动语态。 (2)不及物动词没有被动语态。
(3)动语短语变被动句时,不能把动词后面的介词去掉。 eg: The doctor looked over the patient carefully.
?The patient was looked over carefully by the doctor. 医生仔细地检查了病人。
(4)主动句中的宾语是反身代词时,不能变为被动语态。 eg: He taught himself.他自学 (5)系表结构的句子没有被动句。 eg: He looks sad. 他看起来很悲伤。
(6)make sb. do sth.变被动句时,动词不定式中的to不能省略,类似的动词还有let, notice, hear, see, watch等。
eg: I heard Lin Tao sing English songs.

1.by mistake的用法
by mistake为介词短语,意为“错误地(因粗心,遗忘等所致)”。by mistake中mistake前不能加a,也不能变为复数的形式。
