这是一个一般过去式的句子。句中visited是visit的过去式。

一般过去式表示过去某个时间发生的动作或存在的状态。常和表示过去的时间状语连用。如：yesterday， last weekend, an hour ago 等。 如：What did you do last Tuesday? I rowed a boat in the park.

这是对did 引导的一般疑问句的肯定回答。。 如：Did you go home last night ? Yes, I did
