Be able to grasp and use this sentence structure: Are you…? ---Yes, I am/No, I’m not 3.Master the pronunciation of the letter k. 教学 目标 在前两个课时里教师已经让学生整体感知了A部分的课文对话并处理了B部分的单词,本课时主要课时 安排 巩固加深学生对warm, cool, hot, cold的认识,并拓展它们的用法。 Teaching & Learning procedures(The third period)

Step 1 Greeting

T: Hello, hello, how are you? Hello, hello, how are you? (Sing) Ss: I’m fine

T: Thank you, I’m fine. (Sing) Ss: Thank you.

Step 2 Lead in

T: Hello, boys and girls. I’m your friend, do you still remember me? My name is Bei bei. I want to find me pen pals Peter, Ming ming, and Anne.

Are you Peter? (走到一个学生面前,在课前要求学生将头套的人物面朝外佩戴) S1:Yes, I am.

T: Nice to meet you.

S1: Nice to meet you, too.

T: You are so clever. (同时竖起大拇指) T: Are you Anne?

S2: No, I am not. I’m Ling ling. T: Ling ling, how are you? S2:I’m fine, thanks.

T: How beautiful voice! Thank you, sit down, please.

T: Today, I’m hot. How about you? Are you cold, warm, cool or hot? (同时走向四块展板) 【学习内容】Are you sb? Yes. I’m/ No, I’m not. 【学习方式】教师表演,师生对话

【设计意图】通过老师与学生的对话,让学生记住自己的身份,为接下来的sb is cold/ warm/ cool/ hot 做铺垫

Step 2 Presentation

Picture show

T: 1. Look at the first picture! Wow, who is the boy? (停顿片刻),He is Peter, do you still remember Peter? Peter is … (同时做冷的动作) Do you think so?

2. OK, look at this picture, her name is Dong dong, Dong dong is… (呈现图片) 3. Who is she, she is Ling ling, Ling ling is…(呈现图片) 4. Ok, this is Ming ming, Ming ming is … (呈现图片) Ss: cold

T: You are so clever, yeah; Peter is cold, Ok, read after me, cold Ss: cold

T ask students one by one to read “cold” T: you please! S1: cold

T: well done! /good/thank you, you are so smart/wow! How beautiful, sit down please/ perfect/ok, try again S2, S3, S4, S5….

【设计意图】通过学生熟悉人物的图片展示,引入新教学的句型,这样可以加深学生对天气感受词视觉上的认识。

Step 3 Practice 1 Free talk

T: Now, let’s talk with each other. Look at the card on your head, for example, look at me, I’m Bei bei, so, Bei bei is…(同时将自己头上的卡片展示给大家) Ss: hot

T: Yeah, you get it, Bei bei is hot. Now, look at your partner, your partner(根据头套的角色换名字) is… T: OK, understand? Talk in pairs. (同时教师在全班走动,帮助不会的学生) T: Let’s stop here. Can you tell sth. about your partner’s feeling? Check 3-4 groups to present their conversations. T: Well done! / You did a very good job

【设计意图】将warm/hot/cool/cold融入到语境中,在语言氛围中学会表达关于天气的四种感受。

2单词不用记

T:OK! Let’s play a game, firstly, I’ll divide the whole class into two groups, Girls are in Group 1, and Boys are in Group 2. I’ll give you some surprise if you are win, then, please look at the short video. Are you ready? Ss: Yes.

T:Group1 ,Girls, girls, all the girls, please give me your hands, cold, C-O-L-D, 冷 T: Now, read after me, C-O-L-D, cold Ss…

T: You did a very good job. 播放视频(warm)

T: let’s read after the tape.

T:And then, look!(播放一段后,停顿一下, 让学生跟读)

T: Ok, Let’s come to the last one (播放视频 cool)

T:G2,now, it’s your turn. Are you ready? Ok, give me your hands Ss: C-O-O-L, cool T: wow, perfect!

【设计意图】将枯燥的单词学习融入到游戏当中,并配合以视频趣味记单词法,这样学生的注意力必须高度

集中,对于单词的书写,能够高效率的掌握。

3. Standing in line

T: look at this card(指着自己头上的卡片),I’m hot, so , I should stand here, or here, or here? Ss: yes.

T: Now, look at your card, and find the line you should stand, Ok? (叫一组的同学) T: Is he standing in the right place? Yes or no? Ss: No

T: Where should he stand? Here? Here? Ss: Yes.

T: wow, wonderful! You are so clever. 【学习内容】E部分练习

【学习方式】游戏法,根据头饰站队

【设计意图】为了激发学生的学习兴趣,将枯燥的单词连线换成游戏,让学生更直观、快速的完成E部分的

连线,同时也是对“单词不用记”及“Free talk”学习效果的一种反馈。

4. An English song

T: You seems to be a little bit tired, so, let’s relax, let’s sing a song, two tigers, can you sing? T: One two, go 领唱一遍

T: Again. Let’s sing together. T: This time, boys, first. T: Girls, are you ready?

T: This time, I first(老师演唱问句部分,学生演唱回答部分) T:Wow, how beautiful voice.

Are you hot? Are you hot? No, I’m not No, I’m not 【学习方式】唱英语歌曲

【设计意图】以歌曲活跃气氛,使孩子们带着一种愉快的心情轻松地学习“你冷、热吗?”这一句型。

Step 4 Additional task

T: Now, Let’s chant. Do you want to learn an English poem? Ss: Yes

T: Here is a girl, her name is Kate, and there is a kite in her hand. Do you like the kite? Ss: Yes

T: Ok, pay attention to the pronunciation of the red letter now, read after me,

【设计意图】边拍手边有节奏的诵读,在反复诵读中发掘字母K的发音

Step 5 Homework

1. Review the poem, try to chant

2. Act out “warm, cool, cold, hot” with your partner, then, the other one speak out the word your partner acted. Use these sentence structures: “are you cold?”

【设计意图】让学生课后自觉主动地复习巩固已学知识。

自我反思

一. 主要特色与创新之处

1. “不用记单词”,颠覆了传统的单词教学方式,学生能在短时间内高效地记住单词。 2. 在语境中不断联系所学内容,让学生学以致用。

3.主要创新点在于把单词的拓展部分编成歌曲,让学生在学习歌曲的过程中学习了单词的运用。 4.“头套连线”,提高学生学习兴趣。 二. 存在的问题与不足

1. 环节的过度应更自然些。

2. 时间的安排上,Let’s chant部分可能时间太少,只有留作家庭作业。
