Grammar—Inversion

一、 判断下列倒装句是部分倒装还是全部倒装。

(一) 完全倒装Full Inversion:

指将句子中的谓语动词全部置于主语之前。此结构通常只用于一般现在时和一般过去时。 1.There be 结构，在此结构中可用来代替be 动词的还有 ：

1．带有否定意义的词或短语放在句首。常见的词语有： not, never, _______________________ __________________________绝不___________________________________________________

3．only放在句首，强调状语(副词，介词短语或状语从句等)，要部分倒装。

(1) 只有用这种方法你才能解决问题。Only in this way______________________ the problem. (2) 他只有病得非常严重时才会卧床休息Only when he is seriously ill __________________ in bed.

(3) Only if you listen to me attentively ___________________ what I am saying. 注意：只有2个女孩通过了测试 ________________________________ 4.so / such...that 句型中的so , such位于句首时，需部分倒装。 (1) He was so frightened that he was speechless for a moment

= _____________________________ that he was speechless for a moment. (2) 这么可爱的孩子大家都很喜欢他________________________________ that we all like him. (3)___________________________ that he was praised.他取得了如此大进步以至于受到了表扬。

5.在虚拟语气条件句中从句谓语动词有were, had, should等词时，可将if 省略，把 were, had, should 移到主语之前，采取部分倒装。 (1) 如果我是一只鸟，我就能自由的飞翔。

(三) 形式倒装

1. _______置于句首, 为保持句子平衡

3. 表示祝愿的句型中，完全倒装和部分倒装会出现。
