Collision signal

When using the Precitec system, in case of a contactbetween the sensor insert or the nozzle electrodewith machine mass an electronic collision signal isproduced which can be used to shut off the drive or toinitiate an escape reaction of the drive.

Mechanical collision protection

The mechanical collision protection effects a sepera-tion of the cutting head from the linear drive unitduring lateral collisions. A bellow prevents the headfrom falling down.

Due to the collision, there will be an increase of thedistance between the tip of the nozzle to the connec-ting adapter.

The collision protection is protected against pollutionby the bellow.

Prior to a new start-up of the cutting process the headhas to be inserted again. A ball centring enables aneasy, reproducible inserting by the user.

Collision detection

The collision is detected by a built-in detector. Theanalysis is performed by the CNC-control.

Variants

The variants of the sensor insert SE YK52 F120 andSE YK52 F120 CON have been replaced by theimproved version SE YK52 F120 CL.The variants SEYK52 F120 CON and SE YK52 F120 CL are compa-tible. The sensor insert SE YK52 F150 CL is new.
