T:Good morning, everyone. Ss:Good morning, Miss Zhang. T:What’s your favourite day? P1:I like Friday. T:Why?

2.Revise words:Chinese/English/maths/PE/computer? Step 2 Work in pairs. 1.Lead-in.
T:What is your favourite subject, P1? (ask P1) P1:My favourite subject is art. T:Oh, you like art best.(重读best)

T:Music is interesting and easy for you. I am sure you will learn it well.
2.Teach hard and boring.
T:Now, boys and girls, let’s count how many students in our class like maths. If you like maths, please raise your hand.

3.Teach new word one time and drills these words by games. For example: Show me your ?. Listen and touch. What’s missing?
4.Put the new words in the old patterns to drill, or work in pairs. P1:What’s your favourite subject? P2:Chinese.
P:Why do you like Chinese best? P2:Because it’s easy. P1:Why don’t you like maths? P2:Because it is boring and hard. Step 5
Deal with homework, say goodbye to students.
The second period

2.Though thinking or antonym’s actitives. Review words:easy, hard, interesting, boring.
Plan1:Write a word on the blackboard, For example“hard”,and find out another words of same mean .
Plan2:Find out antonym.

Listen and practise:useful, useless, important, magic 1.Teach words:useful, useless, important and magic. (1)Teach useful.
T:Boys and girls, what are we doing now? Ps:We are having our English class. T:Good. Do you like English? Ps:Yes.
T:Why do you like English? Ps:Because it’s interesting.
T:Yes. As we learn English, we can sing English songs and read English stories, can’t we?
Ps:Yes.
T:So we say English is very useful. Ps:有用的。

T:Right. How to say“无用的”in English? Ps:? T:Useless.
