and circumferential welds. The probes shall be manipulated so that the ultrasonic beams pass through all of the examination volume. Scanning shall be done in two directions 180 deg. to each other to the extent possible. Areas blocked by geometric conditions shall be examined from at least one direction. The additional t/4 volume angle beam examination shall comply with these requirements within 1/4 of the thickness from the examination surface.
6.7 用斜射波检测平面型反射体的记录

6.7.1 记录所有不小于20%距离—幅度校正(DAC)曲线的反射体,记录能产生不小于按照规定的校准幅度讯号表面的反射体。记录探头位置和定位的尺寸,精确到2.5mm。
Record all reflectors that produce a response equal to or greater than 20% of the distance-amplitude correction (DAC). Record surface reflectors that produce a response equal to or exceeding the calibration amplitude established per requirements. Record all probe position and location dimensions to the nearest 2.5mm.
6.7.2 每次扫查的间隔,不应超过平行于递增扫查长度方向上的换能器尺寸的9/10(10%重叠),并从这些扫查中取得数据,记录按20% DAC所确定的各端点的数据,要强调确定反射体长度、高度和深度。
Obtain data from successive scans at increments no greater than 9/10 of the transducer dimension measured parallel to the scan increment change (10% overlap). The following reflector data shall be recorded when a reflector exceeds 20% DAC: maximum percent of DAC, sweep reading of indication, probe position, location along the length of the weld, beam direction, and the through-wall dimension.
6.7.4对于幅度为20%到100úC的反射体,应记录移近反射体最大波幅处时其幅度为20úC的最小扫描线读数及位置、以及沿反射体长度方向的定位数据。对于幅度超过100úC的反射体,应记录移近反射体最大讯号处幅度为50%最大幅度的最小扫描线读数及位置,以及沿反射体长度方

For reflectors 20% to 100% DAC, record the maximum sweep reading and its position and location along the length of the reflector for 20% DAC when moving away from the reflector’s maximum signal direction. For reflectors exceeding 100% DAC, record the minimum sweep reading and its position and location along the length of the reflector for 50% of the maximum amplitude when approaching the reflector from the maximum signal direction.
6.7.5长度尺寸: 反射体的长度应由沿焊缝长度方向以20úC记录的位置和定位数据,得出反射体两端间的距离来确定。
Length dimension: the length of the reflector shall be obtained by recording the position and location along the length of weld as determined by 20% of DAC for each end of the reflector. 7.记录 Records

Record the sensitivity of the reflector that is higher than 50% of the DAC curve. The probe position and its dimension shall be exact to 2.5mm.
7.2每项次扫查探头平行方向间距变化不大于晶片尺寸9/10(10%重叠) The moving path of the probe shall be average and the more than 10% of the moving area shall be overlapped.
7.3对工件首先进行粗检测,对波幅超过灵敏度曲线的反射波应根据探头位置、方向、反射波的位置及焊接的具体情况,判断其是否为缺陷,判断为缺陷的部位应作出标记,然后对粗检测中作标记的部位进行精检测。
Roughly detect the article at first to judge the reflecting wave which is higher than the sensitivity curve as per the probe position, direction, the reflector position and the actual welding conditions, if it is confirmed as the defect, the defect position shall be marked and accurately detected.
7.4审阅制造或焊接施工图,或其他检测方法辅以确定反射体的正确位置,尺寸和方向。
Review the fabrication and welding construction drawings or use other detection methods to confirm the accurate location, dimension and direction of the reflector.
7.5藕合补偿:应对表面粗糙度、材质衰减、探测面是曲面的工件进行补偿,检测时,应对这些损耗、衰减和补偿进行修正,修正量必须计入DAC 曲线。
Coupling compensation: compensate the article that is cambered with rough surface, material attenuation. During the detection, these loses, attenuation and
compensation shall be rectified and shown on the DAC curve. 8. 复核
8.1 每次检测前均对灵敏度曲线进行复核,遇有下述情况应随时对其进行重新核:
Recheck the sensitivity curve before the detection. And calibrate it at any time when the followings occur.
8.1.1校准后的探头,耦合剂和仪器调节旋钮发生改变时;
Once the probe, couplant and adjustment knob of the detector change
after the calibration;
8.1.2开路电压波动或者检测者怀疑灵敏度有变化时;
Once the voltage changes or the sensitivity being suspected to be
changed;
8.1.3 连续工作4小时以上时;
Once the work time being more than 4 hours continuously; 8.1.4工作结束时。 Once the work being over
8.2 扫描量程的复核:如果DAC 曲线上任意一点在扫描线上的偏移超过扫描读数的10%,则扫描量程应予修正,检测记录中加以标明。
Recheck the scan range: if the reading of any point on the scan line of the DAC curve has more than 10% deviations, the scan range shall be rectified and marked in the detection record.
8.3 DAC曲线的复核:校核不少于3点,如果曲线上任何一点幅度下降2 dB,应对上次以来所有的检测结果进行复检; 如幅度上升2 dB,应对所有记录信号进行重新评定。
Recheck the DAC curve: the calibration shall not be less than three points on the DAC curve. If there has 2dB of any point decreased, it is necessary to recheck all the previous detection results. If there has 2dB of any point increased, all the recorded signals shall be re-evaluated. 9.缺陷记录 Defect Record
9.1.1 箭头指向焊缝或节点缺陷部位: OK表示合格,NO表示不合格,XX XX分别表示检测人员代号和检测日期。
The arrow will point at the defects of welding or joints: OK means approval, NO means disapproval. XX XX means the code of the operator and the detected date. 9.2 如果该条焊缝或节点不合格,则还应作出如下标识,在该焊缝或节点旁画一粗略的缺陷断面位置图。(见图4)
If the welding or the joints is not qualified, the following sign shall be marked. Draw a defect section sketch beside the welding or the joint.

所有按照第8段记录的显示应按照ASME VIII Div. 1, 附录 12的要求进行评定:
All indications recorded in accordance with paragraph 8 shall be evaluated in accordance with the requirements of ASME VIII Div. 1, Appendix 12:
a) 被判定为裂纹、未熔合或未焊透的显示,不论其长度如何,都是不合格的。如果显示超过参考基准的振幅,其长度超过下列范围的其他显示是不合格的。
Indications characterized as cracks, lack of fusion or incomplete penetration are unacceptable regardless of length. Other imperfections are unacceptable if the indications exceed the reference level amplitude and have lengths which exceed:
⑴ 当t<19mm (3/4 inch) 时为6mm (? inch)

Where “t” is the thickness of the weld excluding any allowable reinforcement; for butt weld joining two members having different thickness at the weld, “t” is the thinner of these two thicknesses. If a full penetration includes a fillet weld, the thickness of the throat of the fillet weld shall be included in “t“.
11. 记录与报告 Records and Report
11.1 检测记录主要内容:工件名称、编号、焊缝编号、坡口形式、焊缝种类、母材材质、规格、表面情况、检测方法、检测规程、验收标准、所使用的仪器、探头、藕合剂、试块、扫描比例、检测灵敏度。所发现的超标缺陷及评定记录,检测人员及检测日期等。
Examination records shall include name of work-piece, serial number, weld number, groove form, weld type, quality of parent material, specification, superficial condition, examination method, examination procedure, acceptance standard, equipment, probe, couplant, calibration block, scanning proportion, sensitivity, discovered defects, evaluation records, inspector, examination date, and the like.
11.2 检测报告主要内容:工件名称、合同号、编号、检测方法、检测部位示意图、检测范围、检测比例、验收标准、缺陷情况、返修情况、检测结论、检测人员签字等。
Examination report shall include name of work-piece, contract number, serial number, examination method, examination sketch, examination range, examination proportion, acceptance standard, defects, repair, examination conclusion, signature of inspector, and the like.
