49) Is drug a serious problem in China? What are the results?

It s getting more serious than before. I think there are two main consequences. First, It s obviously harmful to people s health. Second, it threatens the social stability of the country because people living on drugs may commit crimes if they are short of money. A lot of crimes are drug related. 50) Do you think the unemployment problem could be solved?

Well. It is not easy to solve it. I don t think the problem can be solved in the near future because there are a large number of laid off workers and not enough job opportunities. The government should try to create more job opportunities in the field of tertiary industry, and on the other hand, laid off workers should put more efforts in self-improvement in order to find betters jobs.

I have never been to your country. What is it like?

This is a big question. But I think there are several things you should know: First of all China is a large country with t territory of 9,600,000 square kms.

Another thing you should know is that China has a long history of over 5000 years. Again China has the largest population in the world. Does that give you a clear idea? Which is the best university in your country? I suppose Beijing University is.

For one thing it has a world-wide reputation as a comprehensive university. It has been my dream to go to Beijing University since I was a child.

For another a lot of famous statemen and scholars used to study or teach there.

One more reason is that it is in the capital of China. I ve always wanted to have a look at the beautiful city.

What are the most important factors when you accept a new job?

If there s plenty of training offers, I d be satisfied. In service training course will help me a lot in my future career. The other factors like salary, location etc. are of minimum importance. A man shouldn t be too fussy when he s aiming high.
